The Hit Glee TV Series – A Non Fan Examines the Phenomenon

Glee, the all singing, all dancing Television hit is taking the planet by storm. While inevitable similarities to High School Musical are being created left, right and centre, the Glee show is taking a bit of a totally different direction to those films. It tends to show that characters are not perfect, and on the entire could be a little more realistic than the Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens extravaganza.

Glee’s second season is on its way, and rumours are already circulating of a Glee feature adaptation, except for now it’s remaining on Television, where it’s garnering massive audience statistics. It is not simply happening stateside either, as Glee mania has gripped fans round the world.

The audio CDs of music from the Glee TV series are proving to be huge hits with fans, as is the infamous cover version of ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by vintage rock act Journey. Ok, so it might come across as sugary and relentlessly twee, it does have its positive aspects. The characters are not perfect, emaciated, perfect idols. Many of them come over as traditional, with regular problems and issues. Positive, the show is concerning as exhausting hitting as Pokemon, but it’s its worth.

While the Glee TV series is way from original, it’s genuinely tapped into the fanbase that was left shocked by the top of High School Musical, and in the method it’s gathering even more fans, all of who wish additional singing and dancing comedy drama in their life. Essentially, it’s filling fans with glee. As unhealthy as that pun is, it would seem to be true!

I must stress that I’m not a devotee in any method, shape or form. But, I do genuinely believe that a TV show with a positive message, that follows a collection of underdog characters, certainly has its place on our screens. I might actively dislike the show, but there are voluminous folks that am passionate about it, and I can’t envy them that, as it’s an inoffensive and entertaining series that a nice several folks are obtaining something out of.

The Glee TV series is carrying on a fine tradition of aspirational TV series for viewers rummaging the conventional changes of life, selecting up the baton from shows such as Fame and its like. With Glee TV series products proving to be very asked for, and each episode creating additional fans and additional chat, it’s a reasonably safe bet that the Glee TV series can be around for a while yet. This is often something that, to its several fans, is really price a song and dance.
